Just wanted to put out a reminder that the College Life Fall Summit is
approaching soon.  Here’s the information below…

2007 Fall Summit

August 17th-19th

The Mill :: Denton, TX

COST… $25 (includes 4 meals, t-shirt, resource packet, & ½ day at Water Park)

WHY… To gather & to worship :: To equip & to send out… 

WHO… ANYONE involved in College Life this year

The Fall Summit is College Life’s primary opportunity to gather together as many of our students & leaders as possible before the school year begins- and provide them with a weekend of fellowship, worship, resourcing, and vision-casting for the up-coming year.  It also serves as a kickoff to our JumpStart Week (aimed at reaching new students moving into the dorms). The weekend will include 3 main sessions, 4 meals, a resource packet, a trip to the Denton Water Park, and a t-shirt for helping new students move into the dorms on Sunday. 

 

I can’t tell you what a HUGE semester this is for College Life, our surrounding campuses, and the City of Denton.  I’ll be honest and tell you, that as I sit here and contemplate all that is going on within our ministry, within the city of Denton, and especially on our college campuses- I am overwhelmed by the ripe potential for ministry that is before us today! I truly believe this year will be a significant year for College Life as we pursue God’s mission for us here in Denton- and across the world… That being said, I want to really encourage you to attend this year’s Summit, August 17th-19th @ the Mill.  The Fall Summit is designed to gather together all those who are leading, serving, attending, or even thinking about being involved in College Life during the 2007-2008 school year…

6:30pm - Dinner, Photos, & Registration

8:00pm - Session #1 - “Take to The World”

9:30pm - Dismiss

 

SATURDAY

1:00pm - Session #2 - “Fall Vision Cast & Q/A”

3:00pm - Water Works Park / Free Time

6:30pm - Dinner

8:00pm - Session #3 - “Prayer & Worship”

9:30pm - Dismiss

 

SUNDAY

9:00am - Breakfast

10:00am - Dorm Move-In’s (w/ Lunch)
