and why on earth can’t someone say something about men, without having to make it into something about women? so ridiculous.
the whole story about this video is interesting, but i’m more interested in the cemetery backdrop…was this a helpful choice for promoting church planting? Sure, lots of plants dont make it, but that doesn’t mean they failed in God’s eyes. The complexity of God’s providence should never be underestimated.
yeah, he got a lot of flack from some folks about that… I think it was more to do with supporting his whole “soldier motif” than it was about just dead church plants; but it was still a little over-the-top… probably could have found a better backdrop than the grave sites. Still a good challenge for men in the church though.
