Missional Opportunity II
Here’s another opportunity that’s along the same lines as the first one I posted… this RA job is specific to TAMS students. It too, is an INCREDIBLE opportunity to place yourself right in the middle of where life is happening! The following is an e-mail I received explaining the details…
The Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science is currently searching for Resident Assistants - a part-time, live-in student position - for the Fall 2007 semester. We are looking for motivated juniors, seniors, or graduate students who desire to have an impact on the lives of our high school aged students and who have experience working with high school or college students in organizations, summer camps, or other similar environments. Resident Assistants advise a wing of students, participate in on-call rotations, and provide general hall leadership.
Resident Assistants are compensated with a private room, a full seven day meal plan on campus, and a modest stipend every two weeks. Candidates must be able to live-in McConnell Hall during the Fall 2007 semester.
If you are interested, please contact Lauren Bohlin at Bohlin@tams.sch.unt.edu to get more details on the position and you may also check out our website at http://www.tams.unt.edu/ra to learn more about our program.
