Missio Dei

Here’s a great sermon series that was recently done by Dr. Mark Young at Dallas Theological Seminary for their Missions and Evangelism lectureship.  It’s entitled “Turning Theology Inside Out: Missio Dei.” It’s speaks to the whole idea of the Missional Life that we’ve been covering at Axcess this semester, and specifically, what it means to fulfill the mission of God on this earth.  Dr. Young is the professor of World Missions and Intercultural Studies at Dallas Seminary.

Dr. Young does a great job speaking to the dangers of separating theology from mission (in other words, falling in love with an understanding of the Word, yet falling out of love with a passion to reach the lost with the Word), and at the same time, outlining healthy ways to allow our theology to support the mission.  Anyway, I highly encourage you to get some time to listen to this series…
